There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
Outdoor Learning Space
We are excited to share our newly built outdoor learning space. Designed to inspire creativity, collaboration, and a love of learning, this space provides students with opportunities to engage in hands-on activities and connect with nature. With flexible seating, shaded areas, and natural features, the outdoor classroom encourages exploration across all key learning areas while promoting student wellbeing. It will be used for a variety of lessons, group projects, and quiet reflection, offering a vibrant extension of our indoor classrooms.
Combined Public School Music Festival
We proudly participated in the Combined Public School Music Festival, where our students showcased their talents in both dance and choir. The festival featured stunning performances from our Junior, Stage 2, and Stage 3 dancers, who impressed the audience with their energy, creativity, and teamwork. Our choir also captivated the crowd with their beautiful voices and enthusiasm, delivering a performance that highlighted their hard work and dedication. The event was a true celebration of the performing arts, providing our students with an opportunity to shine, build confidence, and represent BSPS with pride.
Stage 3 Camp
Stage 3 students recently had an unforgettable experience at the Tea Gardens, attending camp alongside a community of local schools. This joint camp allowed our students to build connections with peers they will be with in high school, helping to ease the transition and form lasting friendships. Over several days, students participated in a variety of engaging activities that fostered teamwork, resilience, and leadership, from outdoor adventures to creative group challenges. The camp provided a unique opportunity for students to strengthen their social skills, enjoy hands-on learning in a beautiful natural setting, and grow both personally and as part of a wider school community.
Start of Kindergarten
Starting school is an exciting milestone, and at Belmore South Public School we make sure our new Kindergarten students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn. Our transition program helps children and families become familiar with our classrooms, teachers, routines, and school environment. Through fun activities, play-based learning, and opportunities to meet new friends, children build confidence as they take their first steps into “big school.”
"We love our school because it's a multicultural and welcoming community” — a Stage 3 student of Belmore South Public School
