Our extra-curricular highlights
Performing arts
Our dance and music programs provide students with rich opportunities to explore their creativity and express themselves with confidence. Students can participate in dance and choir groups, developing their skills while collaborating with others. They also have the opportunity to showcase their talents at events such as the Combined Public School Music Festival, celebrating their achievements on a wider stage.
Creative arts
At Belmore South Public School, our lunchtime Art Club provides students with a welcoming space to explore their creativity, develop new artistic skills and express themselves through a variety of art forms. Students have opportunities to showcase their talents through school events and performances, building confidence, creativity and pride in their achievements.
Excursions and incursions
Our students learn beyond the classroom through enriching excursions, incursions and hands-on experiences that bring learning to life. These opportunities inspire curiosity, build confidence and create meaningful connections between classroom learning and the world around them.
Our Extra-Curricular Activities
At Belmore South Public School, students are encouraged to discover their interests, develop new skills and take part in experiences beyond the classroom. Our extra-curricular activities provide opportunities for students to build confidence, develop leadership skills, work collaboratively and discover new passions. From sport and creative arts to student leadership, competitions, performances and community projects, there are many ways for students to get involved, challenge themselves and contribute to our school community.
Recorder club
Recorder Club provides students with the opportunity to develop their musical skills, confidence and creativity in a fun and supportive environment. Students learn to read music, play familiar songs and develop their technique while working together as an ensemble. The club encourages perseverance, teamwork and a love of music, giving students the opportunity to share their growing skills with the school community through performances.
Junior and Senior Dance
Dance Club gives students the opportunity to express themselves through movement while developing confidence, creativity and teamwork. Students learn fun routines, explore different styles of dance and build their skills in a supportive environment. The club encourages students to challenge themselves, work collaboratively and enjoy the excitement of performing for our school community.
Choir Club
Choir Club provides students with the opportunity to develop their singing, musical skills and confidence in a fun and supportive environment. Students learn a variety of songs, explore rhythm and performance, and work together as an ensemble. Through rehearsals and performances, students build teamwork, self-expression and a love of music while proudly representing Belmore South Public School.
Media Club
Media Club gives students the opportunity to develop their creativity, communication and digital skills while sharing the stories of our school community. Students work together to plan, film and edit videos, conduct interviews and capture special events and learning experiences at Belmore South Public School. Through authentic projects, students build confidence, teamwork and leadership skills while developing their voice and learning how to communicate effectively with a wider audience.
