Inspire – High potential and gifted education
At Belmore South Public School, we are dedicated to supporting every student to grow, achieve and reach their full potential. Our students learn in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment where diversity is valued and success is recognised and celebrated within our school community.
We acknowledge that high-potential and gifted students come from a wide range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds. At Belmore South Public School, these students are identified and supported across multiple domains, including intellectual, creative, physical and social-emotional. Through a range of assessment strategies and ongoing observation, we ensure each student’s strengths and potential are recognised and developed through meaningful and engaging learning experiences.
Our leaders and educators are committed to ongoing professional learning to strengthen their capacity to support the growth and achievement of all students, including those with high potential and giftedness. Teaching and learning programs are informed by evidence-based practices that promote high achievement and the development of student talent.
